Perfume Xpress Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing Perfume Xpress. We strive to get your favorite scents to your doorstep as quickly and safely as possible. Below are the details of our shipping process.

1. Order Processing Times

  • All orders are processed within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).

  • You will receive a notification via email or SMS once your order has shipped, containing your tracking number.

  • Main centers include Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein, and Port Elizabeth.

  • Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary during peak seasons or promotional events.

3. Shipment Tracking

Once your order has been handed over to our courier partner, you will receive a tracking link. You can monitor your package’s journey directly on the courier’s website.

4. Shipping Restrictions

  • P.O. Boxes: We currently only ship to physical street addresses where someone is available to sign for the delivery. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

  • International Shipping: Currently, Perfume Xpress only ships within South Africa. We are working on expanding our reach to neighboring countries soon.

5. Damaged or Lost Packages

Fragrance bottles are glass and, while we pack them with extreme care (using bubble wrap and sturdy boxes), accidents can happen.

  • If your bottle arrives broken or leaking, please take a photo immediately and contact us at [admin@perfumexpress.co.za] within 24 hours of delivery.

  • We will open an investigation with the courier and arrange for a replacement or refund.

6. Incorrect Shipping Information

Please ensure your delivery address is 100% correct. Perfume Xpress cannot be held responsible for orders delivered to the wrong address due to customer error. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for the “re-shipping” fee.

Perfume Xpress Return & Refund Policy

At Perfume Xpress, we want you to find your signature scent. However, due to the nature of our products and health and safety regulations, we have established the following guidelines for returns and exchanges.

1. 7-Day Return Window

You have 7 days from the date of delivery to request a return. To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unopened, unused, and in its original shrink-wrapped packaging.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To ensure the integrity of our fragrances, we can only
accept returns if:

  • The item is still sealed in its original plastic wrap (cellophane).
  • The box is undamaged and in its original condition.
  • You have the original receipt or proof of purchase.

 Note: Once the seal/cellophane of a perfume box has been broken or the bottle has been sprayed, the item is no longer eligible for a return or exchange due to hygiene and quality control standards.

3. Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival. Contact us immediately if:

  • The item is defective or the bottle is leaking.
  • The item was damaged during transit.
  • You received the wrong fragrance.

In these cases, we will arrange for a collection and send a replacement at no additional cost to you.

4. Non-Returnable Items

  • Sample Vials & Discovery Sets: These are final sale and cannot be returned.
  • Opened Bottles: Even if only sprayed once, we cannot accept returns on opened fragrances.
  • Sale Items: Items purchased during a clearance or “Final Sale” event are not eligible for return.

5. How to Start a Return

  1. Email our support team at [admin@perfumexpress.co.za] with your order number and photos of the sealed product.
  2. Once your return is approved, we will provide instructions on where to send your package.
  3. Shipping Costs: For “change of mind” returns, the customer is responsible for the return shipping fees. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
